Very sturdy design. It is about twice the size of what I needed to prevent my back door from sagging. The screw portion is about half an inch in diameter.

Decent Product- finish is somewhat raw and a bit wonky in overall appearance but functionally these work as designed and do the job. If you are looking for a quality refined appearance, source another product. If you only need function, these are perfect. Great for hidden or inconspicuous installations.

Works well to hang a gate from a wooden post or wood structure. Sturdy construction. Glad I found this because my local hardware store only sells the 1/2-inch version.
