These bulbs are bright! I purchased for OEM foglight replacements that were 37 watts. Of the two received, one did not work once installed. I did follow proper halogen bulb handling and never touched the glass when handling. They arrived, each in a thin cardboard box, in a bubble lined envelope. I noticed the old fog light bulbs were painted a dark gray at the tip whereas these were not. When I did try out the one working bulb, I noticed that it scattered the light forward. I mean, like from street to in the trees at 50 feet! All that to say that fog lights are meant to focus low and perhaps are painted at the tip to keep the light from shining forward and blinding oncoming drivers. These will probably work best as driving lights and remember to align so that you do not blind oncoming drivers.
