Very, very nice! Good long rope. I actually meant to order black but I like this tan version very much! Leather popper is of nice quality, I've definitely seen cheaper, weaker leather on other mecate reins, You get plenty of length with these reins. They do kink up a little sometimes when tying and untying but after a little use it shouldn't be an issue. The horse hair is nice and thick, overall very good reins. I'm a big fan of just using these and a rope halter for riding.

It works well, holds up and is practical. It would look prettier if there was a larger popper on it, but it is fine. The horse hair is nice and looks good.
