Item fit perfectly. I recommend a quite a few drops of 3 in 1 type oil and let slide down inside cable to lubricate. Took about 10 minutes to install on my Craftsman 24 hp lawn tractor. Very smooth and easy engagement of lowering and raising deck.

I purchased this item to replace the fraying clutch cable on my Husqvarna LTH18538 lawn tractor. Item was reasonably priced and the free shipping only sweeten the deal. Item was quickly shipped and arrived in a couple of days. In comparison the replacement cable is an exact match to the original. The cable appears to be of quality construction and it works very well.

I installed this on my lawn tractor. I cycled the mower engagement handle two times and the plastic sheathing that works as the stop for the cable stripped rendering the cable nonfunctional. I was able to use a wire cable clamp as a stop. Not impressed that the key feature for maintaining the cable position is fairly soft plastic. This appears to be a cheaper aftermarket cable not an original. Would not buy again.

This was an exact replacement for my craftsman riding mower. I was able to install in about 10 minutes. Had it on for over 6 months now and it’s still functional like the original. This was the best priced cable that was an exact fit.
