Unfortunately, this item did not help with the exhaust noise at all.May work on a small recreational vehicle like a dirt bike or ATV, definitely not good for a normal car or small work van exhaust.It is made of light gauge sheet metal, the set screws were very short, and even after tightening the set screws to the max without stripping the head or threads AND using lock tight to prevent the set screws from becoming undone, they did, and the insert fell out somewhere while driving.It's gone.Long story long, as always, get what you pay for in life.
