I bough this front passenger seat switch to replace my defective one. My original switch does not move my chair back and forth. This purchase solved my problem. I fixed it myself in half an hour. My car is Lincoln MKX 2008.Added notes 3 months later: The front/back bottom stopped functioning.

worked great , passenger front seat reclined but would not go up again . This fixed it no problem . it is original ford part and worked for 2012 ford F350 .

The replacement it is an actual switch by Motorcraft (built for Ford). Once the plastic cover was removed to get it installed, it was easy to put back in. The install problem is with Ford's main cover the switch fits into. I watched a couple of video's in which one shows where the main cover has a crack in it from someone's previous attempt to replace. Sooo, I took some time trying my best not to make the same crack on the top right of the main cover. OF COURSE IT CRACKED A LITTLE but I managed to get the main cover back on and the crack disappeared when the main cover snapped back into place after connecting the new switch. Those 2 little switch caps, middle and right, were buggers to get unsnapped. It was like they were going to break with the pressure but they didn't. The main wide cover has 2 snaps at the bottom and 2 snaps at the top. Try and get the bottom ones undone first and then the top 2 will be easier. So with all that being said, 1) pop the middle and right caps off using a plastic wedge tool or a large flat-head screwdriver with a plastic guitar pick (or sim) to pivot on to keep from scratching the main cover. 2) try to unsnap the main cover's bottom 2 snaps first by pulling out on it carefully, then unsnap/unlatch the 2 at the top (good luck not cracking the plastic). 3) unplug the connector and replace with new switch. 4) put things back together in reverse order

Simple plug and play process. Only took 15 mins on my 09 F150 to install *and I'm not very handy*. My passenger seat revived its 10 way power controls again! This isn't exactly like the OEM part, but it works great, and was less than a 1/3 of the price.
