This is a perfect match to replace the radiator cap on my old 2010 Ford Focus. The old one was a Gates and was releasing pressure after only 10 psi. This resulted in below the average gas mileage and longer engine warmup. Please note that the engine thermostat was changed at the same time also. Its very easy to overlook this simple radiator cap. Remember that it is more then simply a cap, it’s also a regulator for coolant temperature/pressure inside the cooling system.

My daughter was told that it was going to be a $1500 fix and then she brought it to me. I looked the car over and sure enough it was over heating. The radiator cap was not utilizing the pressure, the valve was broke. This cap fits a 2009 Infinity G37 Xs.

Decided to replace it due to cracks around the seal with this OEM replacement. Everything matches up, came in OEM bag, fits like OEM. So I’m sure it’s authentic Motorcraft part. Quick delivery as well.
