When I took the original out I could see this one was not near as robust looking and it was missing the hole and check to eliminate air locks .

Compared to the Honda OEM thermostat this thing feels like a cheap piece of junk. This one is literally half the weight of the Honda part. I didn't even bother to return, just threw it away.I researched Motorrad before I bought this and I was expecting a better quality part.
