The cable is noticeably shorter than original in 2008 CRV. It would not fit no matter what I tried. My skill level is better than average, btw.

Does the job. Is slightly misaligned however, the lock doesn't exactly line up with the hole. Still can lock and unlock the door, although the key digs into the plastic of the door handle when unlocking. Am going to have to shave a couple millimeters off the metal bracket and drill a new bolt hole.
