Complete junk I installed the new solenoid and bike started and ran but when I shut it off and tried to start the bike nothing just a single click from the solenoid and bike won't start do not buy

I had been troubleshooting this issue for a few days. When I tried to hit the ignition, I would just get a click sound on the old solenoid. When I tested Volts at where the wire connects to the starter, I would get a proper reading when it wasn't connected to the starter but as soon as it was connected, my volts would drop to almost nothing. I could jump the terminal connections on this device to bypass the switch and that would allow my starter to engage. I swapped the old one out with this one and that solved the issue. I was leary about this one since it's not OEM and so cheap and NO reviews. This one matched exactly what I had so it changing it out only took a few minutes. There are other products that have the same model number but their terminals are reversed. I'll update this review if the problem comes back sooner than it should. (Yamaha store in town wanted $156 for the OEM part).

Rubber mount has wrong orientation of mounting slots. Need to use old mount.

The relay/solenoid is correct, but the mount that comes with it isn't. The one that came with it is not the same as the one being advertised. The one that came with it won't work with the bike it is being advertised to fit.

This part was an exact match to the Yamaha starter solenoid on my bike. It fit perfectly and works great! Definitely recommend for an alternative to buying OEM.

This solenoid was the most affordable I could find and had prompt delivery. I was more than excited when I saw the part was an exact match for mine. Swapping the part out was very easy due to exact fit. The solenoid performed just as the factory part did. Overall very satisfied!
