Why do we use the more costly etching process for frosted protectors?
Sandblasting process: tiny quartz sand particles are sprayed on the transparent glass by specific means to produce a matte finish effect.
Etching process: the surface of transparent glass is etched with specific chemical reagents to produce a matte finish effect.
The disadvantage of the sandblasting process is that it is difficult to achieve high quality and uniform spraying, and the quartz sand attached to the surface is more easily dislodged by external friction. Therefore, the frosted tempered glass may have the following two disadvantages:
1) the surface is excessively rough causing a serious loss of screen clarity and wear of the Apple pen tip;
2) the glass surface has almost no matte finish effect, resulting in the anti-fingerprint not lasting, or even failing to achieve the anti-glare and anti-fingerprint effect.
On the contrary, the etching process is a chemical reagent corrosion process, so the product quality is more stable. The matte surface effect of its glass surface is moderate, which can maintain good clarity and also achieve the effect of anti-glare and anti-fingerprint, and can reduce the wear and tear of the Apple pencil.
Important:
It's a mild matte finish. Although it doesn't have quite the same drawing-on-paper-feel as matte plastic protectors, the matte glass is much better than glossy glass. Most importantly it doesn't get scratched as quickly as a plastic protector and severely degrades the display quality.

Great product. Good touch sensitivity. Easy to install. It only took me a couple of minutes to ensure my iPad screen was completely dust-free before installing the protective glass. Thankfully there are some good dust picking stickers in the kit. I can finally use my iPad without light reflecting directly into my eyes.

I had difficulty installing this on my iPad. I followed the directions, but still got several bubbles. I contacted customer support and got a response within a day. They suggested I try carefully peeling the screen protector up past the bubbles, then letting it adhere again. There were so many bubbles, however, I was ultimately unsuccessful. Once I let the vendor know they promptly sent a new screen protector. This one applied with no problems whatsoever. I can only assume there was a small flaw in the original. This is the kind of product support that brings back repeat customers!

Definitely smooth, but the no dazzling statement is absolutely FALSE. It makes the words look so BLURRY and the screen literally looks like TRASH now. There is ZERO CRISPINESS and I am so guh that I paid more than 10 dollars for this CRAP!

I can't say enough good words about these screen protectors. Both me and my teen son love the matte feature which removes glare and prevents fingerprints. The best part though of course is that after dropping our phones many times over the life of the phone, we have never had a cracked screen. Oh did I mention the SUPER AFFORDABLE price?!?!?!? None of that $40-50 nonsense like the phone stores!

商品をiPadに貼り付ける際に手際が悪くてホコリが入ってしまったり、角の気泡が抜けなかったりと失敗してしまいました。同梱されていた「アフターサービス声明」というカードを読んで、ダメ元で「失敗したので新品を送ってもらえないか？」とメールしたところ、メールの返信をもらった翌日に新品が届きました。素晴らしい対応に感謝しています。商品に関しては指紋が目立たなくなりますし、程よいマット感で上品な見た目になります。解像度が低いと感じるなら、「設定」から文字を太くするオプションを選択すれば見やすくなります。とても良い商品です。

Ich war erst recht beeindruckt, doch der Touchscreen war eingeschränkt bedienbar (mit viel Druck) oder Sachen wurden falsch ausgewählt worden, die mehrmals richtig getippt wurden. Dazu ging er durch zu dolles Antippen anscheinend mit dem Stift kaputt (obwohl es normal für das iPad war)Eine halbe Woche nichtmal nach richtigen blasenfreien aufbringen.Bitte Geld zurück

This is one of 2 matte tempered glass protectors on the market for a 10.5 iPad , and I’m so glad i listened to reviewers, because the product is flawless (and supershields has a reputation for defects on their matte protectors)As far as installations go, iPad protectors are always harder. The screen is huge. I struggled most specifically with using the application guide stickers, I had to place it on my screen with the protective film to get the appropriate placement first, and every time i would lift it to get rid of the lint that transferred from the film to my screen, the stickers would peel off. I ended up sticking 2 huge pieces of tape so it finally wouldn’t fall off. But the application was perfect, it fit my home button without extra gaps, and other than one stray piece of lint near a corner, zero bubbles once I used a credit card to guide them out.Long story short, other than the stickers making my job extra frustrating, I’m in love. I’m a very greasy human, and it doesn’t seem to smudge up like my oleophobic gloss protectors in the past. Although being a rather clammy handed person there are definitely a few fingerprints. But its a dramatic reduction from before.The finish is satin smooth, the sensory side of me keeps brushing up against it because honestly, it is SOOO satisfying. And the glare is minimal despite working in a room entirely lit by giant skylight windows.I work with kids, so we will see how durable it is, but so far for my academic/personal uses I’m content.
