The citronella smell is strong and I would say they’re most effective when used in combination. We do one bracelet on foot and one on wrist with one sticker on the shirt. The kids love all the color options and the faces in the stickers!

I went extreme one day and had one on each ankle both wrist and my neck.... I did this as a test since I always have ticks on me after clearing cedars... And for once in the last few years I didn't have a single tick on me... Unfortunately ticks are common on cedars which generally will choke out trees around them fo I clear them out.

So I got these to ward off mosquitos however it literally does not work. I put (1) on my ankle and (1) on my wrist thinking for sure I am protected since I’m using (2)…. Nope! You basically have to wear all of them (meaning the whole pack) at once to have any effect on not getting bit by Mosquitos! Save your money and don’t buy this!

The colors are nicely varied, the weight is super light, the stretchiness was perfect. It really is just as good on little people as adults. (It fit my 2 year old grand nephew just as well as people decades older.)The scent was OK. I'm not a big fan of citronella, but it wasn't the only scent and it was not overwhelming.I bought 200 bug bracelets (4 bags of 50) to give to wedding guests in the Connecticut countryside, where I was concerned that many of us would get chomped to death by mosquitos. Family and friends were very grateful as many of them forgot to pack bug spray. To the best of my knowledge it was very effective for everyone.Since mosquitos mostly seem to aim for the knees down, many of us wore it around our ankles. It was super comfortable.I was outdoors for most of daylight hours over about 2.5 days and came home with just 3 bites. Two weeks earlier, I was in nearby western Massachusetts and was outdoors for about 5 hours total and came home with 8 bites (my motivation for buying the bug bracelets).Definitely I would endorse this product!
