Based on the description, I didn’t expect this to have an overwhelming chemical odor. It is really bad. Intended to let my child wear this to school because he live in a high mosquito area and he has severe reactions to the bites. The chemical odor is so strong, there is no way he or the children around him could tolerate it. Surely something smelling so strongly of chemicals can’t be good for you. Can’t speak to the effectiveness.

These are individually wrapped and are effective in staying mosquito bite free. Because this is not directly applied on skin or not coming in contact with the chemicals directly through your skin. It does have a quite strong smell so if someone is easily impacted by scents then this might not be the way to go. The bracelet came with additional refills as well.

These mosquito repellent bracelets are convenient and easy to use. The 12-pack is great for sharing, and having extra refills is a bonus. They’re DEET-free, which I appreciate for both kids and adults. While results can vary depending on the environment, they definitely helped reduce bites during our outdoor activities.

I really like having a bracelet for repelling mosquitos. It moves with you, unlike having a little dispenser that is keeping a small area clear. And you don't have to spray it on so you don't feel like you need to scrub down afterwards. So does it work? We had a small party and I offered these bracelets to everyone. A few used them and a few didn't. We do have mosquitos so there were a few bites thata evening. What surprised me was that no one with a bracelet had been bitten. Obviously this is anecdotal and I don't think wearing one of these bracelets is absolute protection but I do feel that they helped.The repellent is sealed so it should stay fresh until you need to use it. Once the repellent is used up, you take the old one out of the bracelet and pop a fresh one in.

It helped to repel mosquitos and other mosquito type insect but the scent of repellent stayed on skin. Also the little pods fall out of the bracelets too easily. There should be a bracelet with a mesh or something to keep the repellent off your skin and a also from falling out of the bracelets I lost too many pods

They did keep the mosquitoes from biting me and my kids but only worked for about a month. My son kept losing the capsule out of his bracelet. The capsules don't stay in so I just wrapped some thread around the capsules and it helped hold them in. They are adjustable. They fit my 5 year old son and my daughters boyfriend who has big wrists.

I used to use a similar product and had forgotten they existed. I use bug spray everyday. I'm the only one in the family who is bitten by bugs while I'm minding my own business, watching tv in my living room. Grrrrr!!! My hubby is bitten less than me but has been in the yard and at the boat dock. We both tried these bands and they work! Since I have skinny ankles, I was happy to discover that they fit mine, just closing on the first hole.At first, I put one on each wrist and ankle, which seems to be overkill, but I wasn't bitten. Then I started the routine of wearing one on the left wrist and right ankle. That seems to be the most effective strategy. I still put on Ranger Ready bug spray (unscented), then wear these too. I'm no longer bitten. With all the mosquito-borne illnesses now occurring in the US, some fatalities here in the Northeast, I believe prevention is imperative.It's quite convenient that each pack includes an additional repellent capsule. I'm very pleased with the mild Citronella scent of the capsules. We're going to FL in a few weeks and you can bet these are going with us.
