These were perfect for my '87 Trans Am GTA. I've read other reviews where people say they look too tall, but I think some people have just gotten used to seeing their car with old saggy springs. These return the car to correct stock height.

I got my 96 SS from a guy that put some lowering springs in the back. They were worn out very badly so needless to say anytime I hit a groove in the road any deeper than a dimple on a golf ball, my tires would bottom out and strip the rubber off my rear tires (315s). Did a little research on some proper OE springs and these had the best reviews. Putting them on was a little tricky but not too hard especially after you find the technique that works for you. I would just look up a YouTube video. Not many tools were needed either besides the basics (jacks, wrenches, and something metal to pry/put the new springs on). As you can see in the pictures the car was raised substantially! After about 2 days and 2 15 minute rides, the springs are resting at a great height. Keep in mind that I do have the heater hose mod on these springs instead of the isolators to try to make it level. Now I can hit regular bumps in the road and I don’t have that annoying creaking when I turn and the grinding of my wheels. If you have a 4th gen camaro these are a great part for the price!!

My 94 F body Camaro was bottoming out every time I hit a bump in the road and passengers in the back seats was out of the question. I read a lot of articles and reviews on different products aimed at raising height of the car. There are several options . Installed these springs with out compressor tool but did need couple pry bars. Now the care drives and handles like it's meant to. It even removed some concerning vibration. I had installed new shocks already . To sum it up If your car is banging loudly on bumps I would suggest that replacing these coil springs is going right to the root of the problem ! I'm very pleased with my outcome . Hope this helps someone shop with confidence.

Moog is a product that delivers and has been in the suspension business a very long time. I wanted a variable rate spring as sometimes weight is loaded into my car and I want the suspension to stay as level as possible and these springs deliver

I absolutely love these Coil Springs! I installed these on my 91' Camaro RS to fix my issue with the rear quarter well from hitting my larger tires on the rear of the car. The originals had been getting week and I had to put helpers in on them but the ride was ruff. Problem was solved with the 'Moog CC635 Variable Rate Coil Spring' set. The height is about 2" taller than stock springs which was perfect. I used these with the 'Monroe OESpectrum Passenger Car Shock Absorber 5867' which turned out to be a perfect pairing. The car handles and rides better than new! I have taken several people for a ride in the car to show them the difference and they all said it rides great and seems like a new car. I am totally satisfied with the choice I made. The Variable seems to work well when I have passengers in the back seat also. If you own a 3rd Gen Camaro and are looking for a good handling and riding car these items I mentioned will be a huge step in the right direction. I no longer fear the bumpy roads and just enjoy driving now. Great product and JC Whitney did a great job getting them to me in a timely manner, in great shape and great price.

My 2000 Camaro Z28 has been bottoming out since I bought it in 2000. It dragged a little when going over speed bumps etc. But when loaded on travel trips, it hits bottom whenever you hit a large bump in the road. I changed shocks a few years ago, didn't help it, so I figured it was the springs. It's been doing it since it had about 15,000 miles on it, so the factory springs must have been too weak to begin with. The car has about 68,000 on it now. It took me a couple hours to Jack the car up, take off the tires, unhook the shock, drop the rear end down and replace springs. I didn't unhook the sway bar, that may have made it a little easier, but really not a problem if you have a small hydraulic jack in addition to the floor jack. These Moog springs were about 3 coils higher than the factory springs and the car sits about 2 inches higher now. It rides better, and doesn't drag on the local speed bumps. If it bottoms out on the next trip I will revise this review..
