Installed it when I was rebuilding the driveshaft on my 2003 7.3L Excursion 4wd. Went in like factory and haven't had any issues in the maybe 3k miles it's been on there so far.

One item that was a con to anyone buying this in advance of performing the work. There is another outer seal needed that is not supplied with this set. The rest was good. I would have paid extra to have the outer seal, but was not aware of it until I disassembled the cardan joint.

I used 2 flat head screw drivers to pry out the old ball. I used a Dremel to cut the old race to remove it. I used a 1" socket and hammer to install the new ball and race. I rebuilt the front drive shaft, all new u joints and this ball joint thing. Moog 280 greasable u joints front and rear drive shaft on a AWD Jeep WJ.
