I can't tell you how much of an upgrade it is as I replaced these along with Bilstein B8 shocks, but I can confidently say the rear feels very planted compared to my blown shocks on stock strut mounts.

Installed on 2011 BMW 335d with M sport package. Rear shocks were chnaged at 90k and these are perfect, car not stiffer, no noise probably will last longer than BMW's sponge like mounts.
