Bought some cheap strut assemblies here on Amazon. They sat for a long time before I summoned the energy to do the job. When I did, something was off. Turning was not smooth but jerked. With some time one even started to squeak from the top end. It'd been too long to return them, so I did some research and the mount was the problem.Took the strut out and took to the tire shop to swap the mount. Since I didn't wanna rent the compressor tool and risk injuring myself. Mount swap was only 30-35 for labor with strut outside of the vehicle.Now it works fine.

I purchased this front strut mount kit for a 2006 Hondo Element. The bearings plate that is included in this mounting kit is made out of plastic. This is a subjective opinion but this plastic plate feels brittle and will break in time. The original honda bearing plate feels stout and the plastic material feels softer as though it can withstand the pressure of the strut under load. Going to find a strut mount kit with a better bearing plate.

They fit and are way cheaper than oemBe aware to exercise the plastic bearing before install, the lubricant is very tacky and binds up, caused a bad creak, had to pull assembly back out and work it tiil it freed up

No noise and the problem was fixed really easily. Fits in OEM AND aftermarket coil-overs or stprings with ease. Nice product and a really good price!
