Great little project hobby for my kids. They love all things craft and creative and this is the perfect little starter wheel. It works well and the size is great for beginner children. It’s fairly easy to use and the price is good. I would recommend

You definitely get what you pay for here. I got it for my 8 year old, who is brand new to working with clay. She's able to use it easily, and is learning the valuable lesson that it's okay to mess up, because you can try again.

Bought as a Christmas gift to see how much my daughter would enjoy pottery. Works fine for about that. Pretty hard to really form even a bowl, it slows down with the slightest pressure. 11 year old still enjoyed playing with it all couple times. Never got to paint anything because the clay cracked and fell apart every time while drying.It was exactly what I expected for the money. Not super great, but was able to determine my daughter enjoys the craft enough to buy a more expensive, higher quality item.
