Maybe color has something to do with it. The color I selected was not soft at all to me.

The product is fabulous. The item was received April 29, 2021 exactly 1 day after the return period ended (April 28, 2021). I had to go and buy a volleyball at a sporting goods store as the order took so long to arrive.

This is a great ball. Have bought cheaper ones and they do not last long. Buy one good one and save some money.

Even though Molten is known as a fantastic brand for volleyball, this ball is far from "soft touch". I tried to use it for an indoor competitive league and it's awful. You are much better off buying the Tachikara SV-5WSC for touch and feel for indoor use.

I don't like the feel of the leather. i wish it was a little softer. Not sure if it needs to be broken in
