I had some old rechargeables that only last about 6 hours each, and it was getting a little frustrating having to swap them so often. I got these and they last SO much longer. The recharge is pretty fast too. So far these are a huge upgrade.

These rechargeable battery packs charge quickly, last a very long time (I’d guess 20-30 hours), and come with battery covers to fit all modern Xbox controllers. On my black series x controller the cover matches and fits perfectly, and I’ve had no issues at all with charging and using these batteries.My favorite thing about these particular battery packs vs others I’ve used is the ability to charge them directly via usbc cable. I have the 8bitdo battery set, and it requires you to charge the whole controller on a dock. But since this set has direct usbc ports, you can play while charging, charge them with any usbc cable/charger, and also charge the spare pack without it needing to be in the controller (this is especially helpful if you, like me, only have one Xbox controller).After having to use a bulky and inconvenient dock the past year, I couldn’t be happier with these well-made and well-designed battery packs. If anything changes or any issues arise in the future, I will update this review.

My AA batteries are routinely worn down from gaming. I can go weeks without touching my Xbox, but once the fever sets in, I can go all day.I love the Mocagen battery because it spares me from having to use my AA batteries. The fact that there are two of them in the package (see pictures one and two) means that I can be playing a game while charging the other one. Moreover, these units can be charged on their own; there is no special charger needed for that purpose.In the box: There are two Mocagen batteries in the box, a unique braided USB-C cable and four battery covers.In operation. It took a little over two hours to charge one battery, and about 30 minutes to charge the other one, so apparently they were not charged to the same level before shipping. They glow red when being charged. The Mocagen battery is compatible with ALL X-box controllers, which is quite a feat (see pictures 3 and 4 with the battery in my control pad). Two of the four provided battery covers fit my control pad. The other two are for other X-boxes different from mine. With the manufacturer touting this product as being able to be charged over 2000 times, this device has already changed how I approach gaming. The only con is that the USB-C cord, at about 4.5 feet, is not very long. It would have been lovely to be able to use the control pad while it is plugged into a charger, but the USB-C cord is too short to facilitate this.To conclude: Considering how cheap this product is, this is more than a viable alternative to relying on AA batteries to power the control pad. It comes in a compact form factor, and its ability to be charged independently, on its own is an added boon. I would recommend this product.

I really like this battery pack.You get 2 batteries so when you are 1/2 through a mission in you game and your battery dies, you pause load the 2nd battery and continue on.It also comes with a long charging cable which I have not used yet but it is there just in case.

Let it drain down fully and charge it back up again that should fix the problem
