Bought these bearing caps from Mission Automotive (MA) to replace new ones purchased online from a different vendor (DV). The MA caps are noticeably heavier duty and have a deeper ring around their center to apparently accommodate the axle washer.After two mowings, the MA caps thankfully have stayed on the axle and have not torn, unlike the other ones purchased from DV. The MA caps were easy to install. I simply put them in very warm water for a few minutes, then put them on the axle. I saw the warm water technique on the web, so not my idea, but would definitely recommend warming them up a bit before installing them.I would definitely recommend the MA caps and would purchase them again if needed. I only needed to replace two on my JD D130 mower, so I currently have two spares.

I have ordered these covers in the past from cheaper manufacturers, and they are always so stiff and hard that you cannot actually install them without first heating them. The Mission Automotive covers seem like they are made out of a higher quality material. They fit on easily without much manipulation, yet feel very secure and have yet to fall off.

I was restoring an abandoned tractor that I brought home. I knew that I would need to replace the tires, so these caps have to be removed. The factory ones were cooked by the years of exposure and uv rays, so removing them was a hassle. I ordered these preemptively and was pretty pleased that they are correct in color and fitment.

I needed to replace the hardened original axle caps on a JD LA145. These were reasonably priced (comparatively, anyway) and seemed to work ok. They are soft and flexible, and a pretty good color match. The fit might be slightly loose, but hopefully they will stay on. Delivery was fast and on time as promised.
