I use it for shaving in the shower - Works great!!After adding hot water, there is no fogging whatsoever. I stick it to the glass before getting in the shower. You can adjust the mirror to get the right angle as well.

The mirror stays put on my shower and I particularly like the slightly convex mirror. I've used it 12 times since I received it and it's never fogged up even slightly and I take very hot showers. Thank you for a great product!

I purchased this mirror to replace our previous Mirrorvana mirror which after almost 4 years of use finally has lost it's ability to stay suctioned to the shower wall when adding or emptying water to the water reservoir. My husband uses this mirror to shave in the shower. This is a high quality mirror that does not fog up when the hot water fogs up the shower and instead the image stays crisp and clear for shaving or removing makeup.

This mirror is the real deal and sticks to the tile like glue. My advice is make absolutely sure the surface you plan to adhere it to meets the recommendations of the manufacturer. Then you need to clean that surface of any soap scum or other grime where you plan on putting it. Also do not remove the plastic protector from the adhesive side until you find the perfect spot in the tub area to put it. I put mine just out of the reach of the shower spray so that I can shave without any residual water falling on my left shoulder with the valve on retard which allows just minimal dripping while I shave. I keep a plastic cup in the shower caddy so that I can fill the mirror reservoir with hot water and voila the steamy mirror is completely fog free. I should have bought this mirror years ago, it's like standing in front of your medicine cabinet mirror compared to the cheesy mirror I once had there. One more thing....put a fluffy folded towel underneath the installed mirror, just in case the surface you adhered it to wasn't up to par let's say perfectly clean or perhaps a surface not really recommended by the manufacturer, this will give the mirror a "soft landing spot" should it fall off in the next few minutes to perhaps a few hours. Mine fell on my initial try and no damage was done to the mirror but in hindsight I should have done what I have suggested using a fluffy towel. I then proceeded to do my due diligence and clean the heck out of that tile area and it hasn't fallen since. It has remained in place for 8 weeks now without falling off and I am so very comfortable with it, like it's been there for years. I would recommend through my own experience with having this mirror now for 22 months would be to.... Remove the mirror from your favorite spot at your leisure about every 6 to 8 months and clean that particular spot really good with your favorite tile cleaner and the reaffix mirror to that spot. This practice will more or less insure that your mirror will not fall onto the tub floor on its own and startling you like it did to me while I was showering!! Just to reiterate, this mirror is wonderful and stays fog free through the steamiest of showers and makes shaving a real treat for me. I keep a tiny sponge handy to wipe away the water droplets from the mirror surface after washing myself before starting my shave.

The mirror is very sturdy, so the suction power is amazing, especially after my daughters turn the swirling head to adjust to their height everytime they use it. (The swirling head is nice feature, which means its not locked into aiming at one direction like many other mirrors.) I ended up buying another for my bathroom since the first one i bought my daughters wanted it in their shower. It REALLY does stay fogless in a hot shower! Just dump the cold air out of the back, put some hot water in it, and fogless! Takes about 5 seconds.

I'll start with the downside. The mirror image gets more distorted the farther away you are from it. According to the seller, they opted for a plastic mirror for safety reasons. If you're within about a foot of the mirror, it's a usable image for shaving. The suction cup works well and is easily installed. My shower is a fiberglass surround, and I use grab bars that have the same type of suction cup mechanism. They are pretty reliable, but sometimes they do need to be reset. I imagine that will be the case for this mirror. I have had it for a couple of months, and it hasn't budged. I don't hang anything from the mirror (such as a razor), so there is no extra weight on itThe fog free aspect of this mirror has worked flawlessly. Filling the reservoir on the back of the mirror is easily done using the supplied beaker. Even in long, hot showers that cause all the other mirrors in the bathroom to fog up, this remains clear. The reservoir is easily emptied by rotating the mirror, so both filling and emptying are done without having to remove it from the shower wall. So, if you can adjust to a sometimes unstable image (when you are more than about a foot or so from it), the product performs pretty well. Here's looking at you!

I waited two months to review this mirror and I’m glad I did. The longer I own it the more I appreciate it. When I first got it, I have to admit, I couldn’t figure out how to mount it or where the water reservoir was. Yes, I know, I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed. But once mounted and reservoir figured out it worked fine. It’s stayed adhered to my shower tiles no problem. My shower head sticks out more than this mirror so the mirror doesn’t get in the way. It’s lightweight = plastic so it won’t shatter, but the downside is the optical quality isn’t great. And although the fog issue has been addressed, small droplets of water form on it, obscuring the view.Although far from perfect I’ve grown used to it and enjoy my personal time in the shower shaving. Anything that makes shaving less tedious is a good thing.EDITA few days ago the mirror separated from the wall and fell into the tub (In the middle of the night of course). I checked the back and it still seemed sticky but it fell again the next day. I’d expected a lot more than seven months use. Subtracting another star.EDIT IIA few days ago I was contacted by mirrorvana and they are going to send a replacement mirror. A nicely worded email. I’ll install the mirror later and see how it goes.
