My model Super Sawzall (which is over 30 years old), was not listed as compatible with this kit, but after looking the parts over carefully I gave it a try. I did have to use a 6mm carbide drill to deepen the pin hole in the shaft (the saw shaft is hardened steel, a HSS drill bit won't touch it). My saw had the hole end finished flat at the cross slot, but the instructions say that the point of the drill needs to protrude into the opposite side of the slot. It's required for clearance on the pin, so that it can drop all the way in. After deepening the pin hole slightly everything assembled as it should. Just follow the included instructions step by step.I have more than gotten my money's worth out of this saw over the years, and occasionally it had been used very hard. I am so glad to have it back again.
