Not packed safe enough. I had a few casualties with my shipment of glasses, there were two glasses broken only a piece of cardboard in between each glass to protect them it would've been better if they were wrapped in paper or bubble wrap first. If something is moving around in a package it's going to get broken especially if it's glass or crystal such a shame . even being basically triple boxed it's not enough for those delicate glasses without some bubble wrap. The bowl is big and has a nice shape to it there are little bubbles in the glass but it's OK. I was interested in this piece because I thought the ladle was made out of glass but it's not it's just plastic which is fine I just thought how elegant it would be if it was made of glass. Not the quality I'm used to with MIKASA.

I have so much kitchenware and fine china from Mikasa, that the quality, or lack thereof, in this piece truly surprised me.From a distance, the set looks fantastic. However, up close you will see there are black inclusions, one is almost 1 cm in length. These are not marks left by packaging or grease, the crystal is physically warped (see pictures) and there is a black mineral embedded in the material. I'm sure it will not leak, but it does throw off the otherwise great design and look of the piece. For the price, any visual defects should be far smaller.

This product came packaged very nicely and everything fortunately arrived intact. No breakage. Overall, this is a really beautiful punch bowl set. The acacia wood base is my favorite part. By far, its best feature. It has some small silicone feet on it so it does not slide around. The glass bowl just sits freely on top of it but it is very sturdy. The wood ties this in perfectly with all of my party trays that I have and allows me to incorporate more glass pieces as well. I marked a star off because there were quite a few bubbles in the glass. More flaws than I expected from this brand. It’s not a huge issue for me but needed to be noted. But I would definitely recommend this product.

Beautiful set! I was super excited to receive this punch bowl set! I have been looking for one to make my Christmas punch. Every year I say I am going to buy one but then never do. So glad to have gotten this one.I love that it includes 4 glasses and a ladle with the bowl.I can’t wait to use it. My Christmas punch may turn into Easter punch, LOL

I've always loved Mikasa quality, and have purchased various Mikasa products over the years. I was never disappointed until now. The glassware is the issue. The glasses have a weird reside on them. I thought it was a film, the type that typically builds up on the inside of vehicle windows, and would easily wipe off. Not the case. Even after washing with quality dishwashing liquid there is some type of residue on several of the glasses that won't come off. Unfortunately my camera lens isn't picking up the residue I'm referring to. Also, several of the other glasses have air bubbles. That doesn't particularly bother me, but I'm mentioning it in case it matters to others. The design of the glassware is an additional issue. I have average sized hands, but the glassware is quite wide, making it awkward to hold and get a secure grip of. On the positive side, the item was well packaged, and the bowl is very pretty. The wooden base is separate, and I appreciated the quality of the wood, as well as the protective pieces on the bottom to prevent scratches. Based on all of the glassware issues with this set, I would not recommend.

I was so excited when I saw this item and knew immediately that I needed to add it to my entertaining collection. I always wanted a punch bowl but never found anything that I felt went with the rest of my decor when I have a spread!!I was a little afraid of how it would show up since it is all glass, but was so happy to find the set well packaged. The glasses arrived whole and the bowl itself was secure enough in the box that it also made it in one piece.The beautiful accent of the circular wood piece that the glass bowl sits in helps to accent the piece. I have not used it yet, however plan to the next party that I have. It was easy to pack back into the boxes that it all arrived in, so I can store it easily in my pantry and not worry about them getting damaged or broken.

Received the punch bowl today and I am so happy. I can’t ask for a better bowl than this. It is very stylish looking, comes with a wooden stand, 6 cups and a ladle.
