I bought this item because it comes with "BONUS 2 INCH HOLE SAW & ADHESIVE CABLE CLIPS - Comes with 53mm/2 inch Hole Saw". It's convenient for people who don't have hole saw on hand. But after I used the included 2" to open a hole on toolbox then I found the opening is too big(screw holes will too close to opening edge). Then I check the hole saw it marked 2-5/64", not 2". I took a star off because this. The straight cable out is not a plus for my application, so I end up installed another brand with angle cable out.

This kit will help you get power routed thru any wall (whether on a trailer, boat or house wall). The included hole saw is worth half the price of the kit alone which is already matched to what you'll need. The rubber seal should make it able to seal well against a smooth mounting surface. The cord isn't very long (6-8 inches), but it is 12 gauge for a full circuit capacity. I'll note the box says "250V 15A", yet the cords have the prongs for 120V power (not 240V even if they could handle such).

Regarding install -- It's nice that it comes with its own hole saw.Regarding use -- Theoretically you install this device, use a 15A power cord and plug the female end into this unit and the other male end into a 15A socket, and you can have one outlet inside your RV Travel Trailer to plug things into.Alternate version two: You can remove the female plug from the end of the wire on the device, and hard-wire it directly into the back of your circuit panel box into one of the AC circuits. Note that it would be dangerous to plug in both this wire into an outlet and also plug the RV into powered generator or RV outlet at the same time.Alternate version three: What I do is just install this unit and then make a short extension cord with male plug ends on both ends. Plug one end into the pigtail of this unit, and plug the other male plug into any outlet. This will provide power to all the AC outlets and anything else that is wired into this one circuit. Again, it would be dangerous to plug the RV into two power sources at the same time.Note that this is not advice or a suggestion, it is just how I use them.

Love that it comes with the hardware and the cutting tool for the plug itself, quality product, it doesn't leak as is on flat surface fiberglass. Tested for over a month now.
