Aside from the primary concern of finding a compatible replacement power cord, one of the MAJOR attractions of this product, BEFORE receiving it and observing its performance, was its thick & encased construction, which typically results in far stronger internal construction. Quickly turned into a truly deflating experience within a few days, as the cord began requiring adjustment and creative twisting in order to achieve any charging status at all. I’d look elsewhere without any apologies.

This replaced an ancient cord to recharge my Kindle. I like the cloth cover rather than the plastic. The length is a bit long for where I'm using it, but that's ok. It works. And I expect it will outlast the old cord -- and will probably outlast the Kindle.

I needed a replacement cord for several devices that the original cord had become frayed. It works well and I feel the wrapped cord will last longer than unwrapped cords.

After damaging 2 cords previously I needed a replacement urgently while I was traveling and this fit the bill. It has survived where the others haven't this vacation. Great length and is very sturdy. It would be great if it came with a cable organizer.
