The loop knocker is a finger slammer. I’m returning this because it doesn’t have an under plate to tap against. Awkward design.

Love the design and heavy duty quality of this piece. My only lesson learned is that it is not sold with a plate to hit the knocker against. Easy fix by searching the hardware store, but matching the color/style can be tricky.

Basically liked the knocker but found it lacking in that they did not include a knocker plate.

Item arrived poorly packaged. The door knocker was wrapped in dirty tissue paper and placed inside a torn up box that appeared to have been used for something else. Was supposed to include screws for mounting but there weren’t any and it could be an issue finding the right size and finish to match the knocker. My first time leaving a bad review. Very disappointed as it was supposed to be a gift. Will likely return.

I bought this to give my best friend for Christmas. She loves owls. The knocker is just lovely. Very nice size and nice weight to it. It appears very well made. I think she is going to love it.
