Fun gift for your musician in your life. Nice quality of light comes out and pretty fancy package. Yes the pick storage is great but the light is pretty cool.

First, there’s not much difference with the light modes. Description says it has 3 adjustable colors but I only noticed 2 colors (white and yellow). The toggle between the different colors is odd as it turns off between each mode. This makes it even harder to tell the difference. See pictures for different modes. Unfortunately, the pictures did not pick up any noticeable difference. To the naked eye one of them was slightly more yellow.Secondly, (and maybe this should have been first) it doesn’t hold guitar picks. This is labeled as a pick holder but the slots are way or big. Maybe it’s meant to hold multiples in each slot but it’s not advertised or pictured that way. In the pictures, I show 2, 3 or even 4 picks per slot. Having multiple picks in one slot (amount depends of thickness) helps but the thin, slick ones even with 4 picks fall out with any kind of movement or bump. Thicker picks that have ridges work best with this design. If you wanted the picks to be more stable, you could go into each slot with a file to rough it a bit so that the slick picks wouldn’t just slide out. FYI- the description has a note to “place the pick at an upward angle to prevent it from slipping”. Picks can balance and stay on the holder however if you pick it up to move it, they would just fall off.It is very cute as a novelty gift, just don’t expect too much out it beyond that.
