If you don’t have a tie clip, then you are safe with this one. Looks nice and seems to be constructed solidly.

This won’t be mistaken for a fancy tie bar. It is a good example of “you get what you pay for.”The one I received has a cosmetic defect on the surface, and it is noticeable even at a distance because it catches the light, and there are some rough spots.It’s ok in a pinch if you don’t have any better options, I guess. I wouldn’t trust this with anything but a cheap tie, though, as the rough bits could cause snags.I’ll fork out a bit more to get a better quality tie bar next time…

This is a great tie clip to have for your every day occasion. I have to wear a suit to work every day and this tie clip works the best for what I need it. If you are looking for everyday kind of wear, this actually works perfectly. I would say this is not the fanciest but a pretty good look to it regardless. It is very simple and class. It is very easy to open with a little pressure and stays put once clipped. It does not slide or pull the tie so there is no damage to tie or shirt from wearing. The clip is well made and not something that is easy to get scratched up. Overall this is a good clip to have for your every day suit wear but it is not something I would say works for those special occasions.
