I purchased these for snowboarding, and as a beginner they were great! Pads in all the right places. Let me go all day when I was falling pretty consistently.These do seem like theyre too big at first because the pads are not over the joints they are supposed to cover. Knee pads specifically seem like they hang too low. However once you actually fall and your knees bend during the fall, the padded spots adjust to where they need to be.

Overall the quality is good, padding is adequate for fitting under my road race suit. However, the size runs small and the waist portion of the pant is too short to to properly stay in place when you begin moving around. Some mesh material added behind the knees and the crotch are would be great as well because they do not breathe very well
