Got these as I've been a fan of Five Finger shoes for a long time and also run in Altra's due to their wider toe box and zero drop. Saw these and figured I'd try them for a vacation where I was going to need some water shoes, hiking shoes, walking around shoes, etc. and these fit the bill for all of those tasks.They were quick drying and worked even as water shoes. I wasn't sure because there are little dots in the picture of the item and once I received them I noticed that its drainage for water...very cool.Only problem is that they're sold in US sizes but really should be sold in EU sizes. I'm typically a 9 or 9.5 in most shoes and if they don't sell a wide version, I'll size up to a 10 which is usually too long. These things in a 9.5 are too long for me and even a little too wide. The label on them was a 43 (EU size) and in my 5 fingers I run in a 42 so...oh well. Thought about returning them to size down but decided to wear them for the trip instead and all worked out but I think I may end up with blisters on a longer run. We'll find out.

Man, I really wanted to like these sneakers.I’m a big fan of minimalist sneakers and dark blue is my favorite color. These have enough of a pop of color to them that makes them unique and yet, not obnoxious. The branding is extremely subtle as well - I can’t stand when lesser known brands plaster some incomprehensible gibberish all over their clothing. Kudos for that.They came shrink wrapped in plastic & did not come in a box… which is odd but… whatever. They had a strong smell of adhesive when taken out of plastic and I’m guessing that has something to do with the sneakers not being able to breath when hermetically sealed. After a few hours of breathing in noxious fumes, there was no longer a smell.They were pretty true to size. I’m a size 11 regular & they fit well. Tying them was easy & the knot held up well to a 90 minute workout, which included 25 minutes of running on a treadmill. For the most part, they’re comfortable but they’re a little uncomfortable when you’re squatting or lunging, as the toe box flexes across the top of your foot where my toes start. It’s not a TERRIBLE feeling and my feet *did NOT* hurt after the fact. I won’t deduct any stars for that.I’m most unhappy with the decision to put ventilation holes *underneath* the shoe. That’s right - there are FOUR mesh holes per foot and the hole goes all the way into the foot & right to the in sole. I don’t understand the decision behind this choice. Because of this, these shoes are pretty much limited to dry surfaces. There’s language in the item’s listing about hybrid use but… if I wanted shoes to be used in swimming or aquatic activities, I’ll get those instead. They aren’t even puddle proof!Overall, I’m somewhat disappointed in these shoes. I wouldn’t wear these out or to the gym if it’s raining (or even if there’s rain in the forecast). I’d give these a 5 star rating if it’s dry out but a 3 star rating if there’s any moisture outside.⭐⭐⭐⭐(averaged out)

I just received “ these sneakers and they are a very cool choice for me. They definitely live up to be “minimalist” and feel super natural when worn. They have an expansive and wide toe area which doesn’t cramp your foot or toes! This ensures proper toe alignment when worn and provides awesome comfort when working out or just plain walking. The sole is flexible and designed for exceptional gripping. provides exceptional ground feel. They are lightweight and provide good cushioning when worn. I did notice two holes in the soles of each sneaker. Exactly why these holes exist is unknown and when walking through water, you can bet that the bottom of your feet will become wet. I have posted a picture so that you can see exactly what I’m speaking about. To me this is not deterring me from leaving a five star review as I love this product! Nevertheless, they offer a minimalist feel. Highly recommended. Buy a pair and be happy.

Interesting shoes. Pretty good looking in general, although the extra-wide toe box might attract a little attention if you wear a larger size. Not clown-shoe big, but definitely not slim and demure. There is an advantage to that - if you have extra-wide feet like me there is more than enough room in them for your toes to spread out a bit.Not having any significant rise is a bit different. It's not uncomfortable, but it's noticeable at first. Also not the most heavily padded footbed, - you do feel the ground pretty completely.All-in=all a pretty good shoe. Will have to wait to see how durable they are, but I suspect I'll get a reasonable amoutn of wear out of them.

These Men's Hike Barefoot Shoes | Wide Toe Box Minimalist Shoes are comfortable quite durable I feel that the allow my feet to spread out comfortably when taking on steep inclines or some rock formation providing firm traction all the while keeping your feet dry by allowing any water or moisture to drain thru the 4- drain holes down the bottom center of the shoe I love how these shoes breathe on your feet using them in the gym my feet don't feel sweaty like when wearing athletic shoes. The shoes do quite well absorbing shock when making contact with the surface even when running at full stride the shoes feel solid. The price point do make these shoes a good value not quite sure on durability factor but they work well for their intended use. I would recommend these Men's Hike Barefoot Shoes | Wide Toe Box Minimalist Shoes that don't break the bank.
