For some reason I lost most of the music I had in my iTunes. I have now not only replaced everything but burned them to CDs to have hard copies. Good value for the money. I have not used them in my CD player yet so I cannot comment on the sound quality.

8/25/23Eh, they're ok. I primarily purchased them as I noticed how well they burned with a particular software I use. And then I realized that the other software I use liked the disc, so, I used that software. It burned just as good.

Perhaps I am just being annoying. The product is fantastic. I've bought these CDs before. However, I specifically wanted Memorex CDs with a different face (the white CD with the purple broken glass logo as featured in the second photo). Unfortunately, that wasn't what I got. I am not even sure if that specific design is still in production. Minor gripe I guess. CD-R functions like any other CD.

I've been using these discs for the past several years (I keep restocking these from Amazon) and have NEVER had a single one with any issues whatsoever. I burn regular and MP3 CD's all the time, and these are the only discs I will use (unless the price increases significantly). I highly recommend these! I should add ... I have had 100% success using these on 4 different computers, each of which had a different burning software program pre-installed. I have found no difference in quality or success rate, no matter on which computer I burn the CD's. Hope this helps.

Why does nobody take responsibility these days. I have bought so many spindles of Memorex CD's that to know that very few (if any) are defective. In fact I have had one defective CD out of all the ones I have used. When people say they tried burning it three times and it was the discs fault, maybe they shoudl take a look at what they are burning and how they are burning it. If your using old technology then yea, it will be hard to get it right, if you use a more modern system than chances are you'll be fine. The only thing I can complain about is hat it is only 700MB. But even then I bought DVD-R which are 4 GB for higher quality and longer playlists. Memorex makes good CD's.

I've tried Memorex, TDK, Maxell, Sony, Imation and Verbatim discs, primarily for musical-radio use, and they've proven close to equally effective in my experience. Moreover, the more expensive versions designated as "For Music" have no better audio quality than the same manufacturers' "non-designated" discs. So if you favor the least expensive of otherwise equal alternatives, Memorex is almost always the best bet. Since the current price of a 50-disc pack is almost triple the cost of the same Memorex spindle I purchased from Amazon last December, I'm seeking to reduce the damage by going with the 100-pack this time.[Later: A day after ordering these, I discovered that Walgreen's was selling TDK 50-pack spindles for seven bucks. Lesson: especially with the declining demand for CDs, it pays to stay alert and, when the moment is propitious, to stock up.]
