I wanted a snug fit so that my ID plate always stayed atop my wrist, rather than hang loose and rotate around my wrist. So I ordered the 6" chain expecting that the clasps at the ends of the chain might add up to another 1/4".Instead, the entire chain including clasps was only 5.75" long. This difference ended up making it just a hair too tight for my wrist, so I'll have to order the next size up. If the chain had actually been 6" between clasps it would have been a perfect fit. I advise erring on the side of "next size up" if you have ANY doubts about which length you should get.Update: I ordered a long chain at 6.5 inches and received a chain than was barely 6 inches in its entirety, including the clasps. The chain between clasps of the 6.5 inch chain is only 5.5 inches. The anchoring points are just under 6 inches apart. These run at least 0.5 inches short.

I love everything about it. It fits perfectly and the quality is really good. The pattern is pretty and I don't need a magnify glass to read the engraving. The clasps are also fairly easy to attach. I love everything about it.

It looked well made, but I purchased it for a woman which appeared like a good weight in the picture. When it came it looked like the weight of a man's. Also I ordered a 5" and received a 7". Way to big. Returned
