This padded elbow sleeve is perfect for me. I had bought another one that didn't work out because it was too long for my short arm and not flexible enough. I'm so glad I bought the two brands because this one is perfect. I am still suffering from infected bursitis in my elbow and this padded sleeve allows for a full range of motion and is very comfortable. I sleep with it on too and barely notice it's there. Plus you get two and they're very attractive in a variety of colors. I'm very very pleased with this excellent product.

Las he usado para jugar fútbol flag durante aproximadamente 1 mes, meparecen cómodas y de construcción bastante decente para el precio, y no he tenido ningún problema. Suelo lavarlas al menos una vez a la semana y dejarlas secando al aire libre.

This elbow pad is great. We purchased the extra-small, and it fits my 6.5 year old girl fine, over a shirt. It would be too large if she wore it against her skin. She has good growing room in this, and should be able to wear it for several years. The pad is wide and long enough to wrap around her elbow and provide protection to the areas around the elbow as well, which is exactly what we were looking for. It is very lightweight and extremely flexible, so my daughter doesn't complain about wearing it at all. She needs arm protection while figure skating for an ongoing nerve injury that occurred from breaking her arm right above the elbow, and this works great. The flexibility and bright pink color make it acceptable for a young child. Thank you.

57 years old, and I have lost the ability to kneel down on the ground. I purchased the large size at Dicks based upon the size chart. Too small, so I will use these for shin guards. Just ordered the XL for my knees. Although the large was too small, the pattern of the pad and the band are fantastic. Fits nicely under jeans, can't tell that I am wearing knee pads. These allow me to kneel again. Love them, order larger than size chart indicates if you are using them as knee pads.

I got it to protect my shin; I'm a fencer and getting hit on the shin with a stiff piece of metal hurts like a bitch. I saw another fencer with one and thought it was a great idea. I checked the reviews and was careful to get one a size larger than I thought I needed, which worked perfectly. It slides on easily and is so comfortable you forget you're wearing it, yet it provides significant protection. I suspect it would protect knees and elbows as well, although the larger size means that, despite the product material saying arm/leg, that it would be too big for my arm. Love the huge selection of colors as well. Note: you get a pair, which a number of other reviewers noted wasn't clear from the Amazon listing; this makes it even more of a good deal.

I bought this knee pads for my 10 year old to play basketball. At this level the kids balance is not the greatest so he always falls down after jumping for a rebound. I purchased these pads and they were great, however, the durablity of the padding is a problem. After he played about 4 or 5 weeks, the pieces of the padding came out during a game in one of his pads. I will say this to anyone thinking about buying this product. It works great, just doesnt last long enough, so until they can make it more durable, my suggestion is to buy 2 pair BECAUSE ITS GOING TO HAPPEN.I bought a medium and like I said they last about a month but he was playing like 3 games every saturday and he fell quite a few times, and he did it without fear, so I am buying them again because he plays harder knowing he can dive to the floor without hurting his self. even with the breakdown of the padding, I would still recommend anyone to buy this.

This is a very good protection gear for your knees.Recently I bumped really hard wearing these and while other people thought I was in great pain I just felt a thud and that was it.It was weird because the other guy(we hit each other knee to knee.) who was hit lied on the ground grabbing his knee as if it was broken or something. If he and I hit the same place with the pad between us shouldn't he feel the same way I did?Maybe he was faking.(I was called for a foul.) I'm going overboard so I'll stick with the point. There were several other incidents but it will take too long to write them all down.I just want to say I way really relieved that I had these on.Not only are they good for protection but they are effective in compressing the knee joints, too.Lately after several years of playing basketball and running long miles my knee feels wobbly.Unless I warm up for at least 15 minutes I feel I might get really hurt. With the knee pads on and them pressing my knee joints together I feel much better and I can move around as I used to.All in all I recommend this product. It's really great.I've read all the reviews before buying them and I see what other people were trying to point out.For one, if you're always down on your knees and you need protection for that I wouldn't recommend these. The floor will wear it out and surely the hexpad will pop out any sooner than you expected.I think these pads are useful only for bumping rather than rubbing(fritction) if you know what I mean. Also the other big issue, size matter, I think I figured that out.Not just here but there were other websites selling these and there were a lot of people complaining about the size.I live abroad and I was worried because it will cost me a lot of money just to return them.So what I did was buy two different size(size M and L) and try them both on and if one doesn't fit just sell that one and wear the one.I'm not recommending other people to do that. What I found out by buying two different size was that there are two versions(or at least two) of these pads. They look the same but the size chart is different.I saw the product date and the one made in 2010 was much smaller than the one made in 2011.You can find the 2011 one size chart on mcdavidusa.com.(Another reviewer wrote that down so you can check his or hers below.)I don't have the 2010 one(medium size) anymore but I remember the label saying 25-28cm(around 10~11").Since the 2011 medium says 31-41cm(12-16") that's a big difference. So if you're going to buy these be sure to ask the seller which year the knee pads were made.I've never used other knee pads so I can't compare these with other products but I do recommend these if you have no other choice. They have definitely helped me out and extended my basketball life.
