I have never seen a gift set quite like this before. I am used to seeing beauty/spa sets, new parent/baby gift sets, food baskets, things like that... this is such a practical idea!In the box, you get all kinds of first time homeowner goodies - bamboo serving board, 2 hand towels, 3 "Home Sweet Home" cooking utensils, set of "New Home New Adventures New Memories" coffee mugs (one black, one white), 2 coffee stir spoons, salt and pepper shakers (one black, one white), new home ornament, and a greeting card.The coffee mugs are super nice - sturdy, large, and high quality. The gold toned coffee stir spoons are a nice added touch and I like that they have coordinating black and white handles.I thought the bamboo serving board was good quality albeit a little on the small side. It would still make a nice décor piece.The hand towels are soft, fuzzy, and don't leave lint behind on your hands when using them to dry off after washing. (some cheap towels do that!)I loved the utensils! They aren't only cute and decorative but they are also practical and well made!The salt and pepper shakers are nice, too. They aren't like those cheap, flimsy ones that you find at the dollar store.The new home ornament is a cute little keepsake. You could display it with a photo of your family standing outside of your new home for the perfect little memento!If you don't like the way the items are packaged, you can always rearrange them into a small gift basket. Add some cellophane and tie the ornament to the top of the cellophane. If you open it beforehand, you can also fill out the greeting card to write a special message to the recipient.

This gift box seems more suited for a truly new move-in/homeowner, since it includes items established renters may already own, such as salt & pepper shakers, mugs, and a cutting board...these are such useful household items!HOWEVER, the ornament was adorable -- you can add a date with paint or markers.And you can NEVER have too many towels!!The bamboo cutting board and cooking utensils are also welcome additions to any home, whether new or established.

I've gotten a few of these gift sets before, and I must say this one was the best I got. The set has everything in it, as described, each item is wrapped in plastic. The cups are in separate box inside the gift box.I am thinking to use a few of the items such as the cloths and give some away to friends as gifts. It really looks like many small gifts in one, even the salt and pepper shakers look like it could have been sold separately.Good quality and great assortment of things to celebrate a new home!

Lovely & well-packaged housewarming gift! This review is for "Maustic House Warming Gifts New Home, 12 Pcs New House Gift Basket". Have you ever moved into a new home and not been able to find your "essentials" right away? This is a thoughtful gift set that might help get a new home owner through those first few days :-) The coffee mugs are LARGE and feel nice in the hand. I'm particularly fussy about how functional mug handles are , and these are just right. The cooking utensils are smooth and well-made. The cutting board/cheese board is a bit small, but would be nice for a little snack tray. The towels are soft and fluffy and the salt & pepper shakers are attractive and will hold a lot.
