SUPER soft and stretchy material. Perfect for my maternity shoot. Color was just as pictured. However, BEWARE THE SLIT!! It goes all the way up so if you part it even a little bit, you will be spontaneously exposed. It is a gorgeous dress for pictures, but I wouldn’t wear it anywhere else unless the slit was sewn up a bit

When I first opened the package I was a little nervous because the dress was quite heavy and I didn’t know if it would fit. But I am 138 lbs, 5’2 and 8 months pregnant. It fits SUPER well, it’s incredibly comfortable, the color is exactly what I wanted it to be, and the fabric itself is great quality. I’m so excited to wear it for my maternity photos!

I wore this dress for my maternity photos, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! The fit was flattering, and it accentuated my baby bump beautifully. The fabric was soft and comfortable, and I felt absolutely amazing wearing it. It made me feel confident and glamorous during my photoshoot, and the pictures turned out stunning. If you're looking for a dress that makes you feel like a queen during your pregnancy, I highly recommend this one!

Love!! This dress is so pretty and the color is perfect. It feels great on and I love the length. I’m 5’6 and 215 and I loved how flowy and enchanting it looked on.

With maternity pictures becoming more extravagant these days, I was happy to find an affordable yet beautiful maternity gown for my daughter. She absolutely loved how soft the fabric was, and the fit was true to size. It looked stunning in photos without breaking the bank! I would definitely recommend this dress for maternity pictures.

Don’t hesitate!! Buy this dress!! I don’t usually leave reviews, but I know they are super helpful when picking something out such as a gown for maternity photos. The material was really nice quality, for reference I am 5’7 around 230 lbs in the current photos. The dress fit perfectly but still had some stretch. There is ALOT of dress (heavy) to the bottom making it hard to walk around in but looks gorgeous in pics. The slit is not noticeable if you don’t want it to be, it does stay closed while your moving around, I did throw a safety pin about half way down just incase.

I am 5’9, 170lbs, and at 26 weeks when these pictures were taken. This dress was so long and when the wind hit it made it look like a ballgown, lol. It wasn’t the color I was going for. Definitely more yellow than I was thinking but it was comfortable, warm, the material was nice, and a great fit and it turned it out really nice in the pictures :)

This dress was everything! The color was great, the comfort level was exceptional on my 36 week pregnancy body. It washed well and I hung it to dry with no wrinkles (I did not dare dry it before by shoot but later did and it did well). I added a belt for even more dramatic bump reveal but it does lay nicely without a belt. It’s actually more heavy than you would think because it does come with a nice amount of fabric on the bottom and creates a dramatic train like effect. So at times in “action shots” I had to be really carful to not trip on it and I did step on it often. I’m 5’ 5” and 245lbs for reference in these photos. I bought the XL and I’m glad I didn’t size up like I have normally been doing for pregnancy. I have DD breasts and usually things are too tight to fit me well there but this dress surprisingly was perfect in the chest for me. The only issue I had was trying to keep that super high slit under control! My husband had to often make sure my underwear were not showing because that slit actually goes all the way up to the waist (I included one picture for you to see how high it actually goes) but it wasn’t too hard to just get it to lay perfect when needed, and for some shots it was nice to have the more saucy romance vibe of a super high slit, so the versatility it gave to the dress is actually a win I think!! I would just recommend pinning it closed at the top of the slit if you will be outside doing action shots or in the wind. My shoot was mostly inside and posed so not too big of a deal. I did end up pinning the cleavage part to my nursing bra just so it would stay perfectly in place and there was enough fabric (like a double layer) to easily hide the safety pins. I hope this helps!!

Good maternity dress for photos but a bit overpriced in my opinion. The dress was pretty thin and sheer for the amount I paid but the photos turned out really well.

The dress was heavier than I anticipated. I love how it looks on and the long train. Really looking forward to our maternity shoot.

I bought this dress after a pregnant friend showed us her photo shoot. I fell in love with the beauty of the dress… the bishop sleeves, the flowing quality, the neckline. It looked like a medieval or renaissance style dress, and it was burned into my brain that if I need a dress for something fancy, I should buy this dress. Like, I should buy the dress now despite being in my late 40’s with no intention on being pregnant again and make up reasons to wear it because it looked so pretty!Fast forward to this month, I was trying to figure out what to wear for my father’s funeral… yes… a funeral. Seems odd to consider this dress for that, huh? I was going to give a eulogy. I was gutted. I have back issues and lots of curves, and the last thing I wanted to think about was what to wear and would I look frumpy or drab. I wanted to feel beautiful and confident in the face of emotional despair and public speaking. I bought numerous dresses online but none of them looked really good, except for this one. I seriously wondered if it would be a good choice or not considering the event, but then I thought about needing something… anything… to go right that day. So I went with this dress. I felt amazing, and I felt I looked amazing. I don’t normally dress up anymore, but for this occasion, I did. And I didn’t care if anyone thought it was a bit much for a funeral. It was for my dad, not an extended family member, and I was giving a speech and shaking hands and kissing babies and giving hugs and crying and laughing… the day was every emotion, and I didn’t worry about if my tummy was bulging or my thighs were thick or my arms looked bad. This dress doesn’t let body insecurities get in the way… just lets your beauty shine through. The dress IS long. If you don’t have time to alter it, consider using temporary hemming tape that washes off. I’m 5’8” and 270lbs with D cup and bought the XXL in burgundy. I did not hem the dress. I wanted it to flow. I simply grabbed the front of the dress up when I needed to take steps up to the altar or up on the curb at the cemetery. The leg slit is QUITE substantial, and I didn’t have a lot of time to make permanent adjustments, but instead tacked it shut and in place with multiple temporary stitches down to around my knees. That worked perfectly- the dress has a LOT of fabric and flows with every movement, so it was not noticeable at all. The fabric is very flexible and forgiving and breathes quite well except at the pits, but then again, it was quite warm in the church. I wasn’t sure if it was a subconscious thing since I hadn’t been to church in a while and was wearing red to a funeral, or if it was because it was near freezing outside and they had the heater on. But that’s the only place I sweat in the dress. Since the dress drags on the ground, it picked up leaves and dirt of course. I washed it with regular detergent on the delicate cycle and then dried it on delicate as well. The wet pit marks disappeared and the dirt washed out of the bottom of the dress. I didn’t notice any shrinkage either. It looked brand new.So! Long story even longer… you don’t have to be pregnant to buy this dress, and it doesn’t have to be for a photo shoot. I got so many compliments! So buy it and wear it to a photo shoot, to a wedding, a shower, a renaissance festival, a dance, a funeral… whatever and whenever you need to look and feel confident. It is gorgeous and easily makes you look and feel like a princess… scratch that… a goddess!
