The Matching Memory Game for Kids Ages 4-8, Flip to Win Wooden Board Games will be challenging to the younger recommended age group but good for them to start working on concentrating to remember what and where they saw the images. I like that (unlike the game of Concentration using a deck of cards) the pictures will not be accidently moved around. The board is surprisingly sturdy and the game cards all fit in the holder slot at once for easy storage. You play with the top card on the pile inside. The measurements are accurate and can easily be stored in the pocket of the front seats' back pockets. The "doors" are flipped by a thick rubber band that runs through it and the wood board. The game seems to be quite solid in construction and should last for a long time if not abused.

I bought this to use for car rides since there are no pieces to loose. We have used it at home to practice and I find that my 4 year old struggles a bit to open the windows. There seems to be one very tight elastic string holding all of the windows shutters to the board. I imagine over time, the string will stretch out a bit making it a bit easier. Regardless of how tight the string is, my kids and I were having a tough time opening the shutter between 2 open windows since they stick out perpendicular to the board.I like all the boards that the game comes with and I'm glad they used both sides for more fun. The point tracker on the bottom is a nice touch so that there are no additionally pieces needed to play. Over all my kids like it and it can be used over and over again.

This wooden memory game is great for travel and also fun at home. Just insert a game card and the fun begins. My 3-yr old grandchild loves the wooden "doors" that she can open and close on her own. I love that everything stays in place--no keeping cards in place. Keeping "score" is easy with the sliding arrows on the bottom. The 2-sided laminated game cards are sturdy and engaging. All cards fit in the slot on the wooden game board for easy storage and making the game transportable. Whether played alone or with others, this wooden memory game board is a great idea and makes a unique gift for a young child.

The Vinlon Matching Memory Game has a wooden board that is well-made, sturdy, and perfect for little hands. The flip-to-see design keeps kids engaged while helping them develop memory and focus skills. Each plastic cover is connected to the board by a small bungee-type string, which, I think, will last longer than any other construction. And it comes with several different themes for the players to remember.It’s a great size for road trips, airplane rides, or quiet play at home. This game is a great alternative to screen time and encourages interactive play. I highly recommend it for families looking for a simple yet entertaining travel toy for kids.

What an awesome game, and so perfect for travel. Appears well made and is convenient for long car rides or air travel. I like that all the cards slide neatly into the wooden case. My son is 4.5 years old and hasn't played very many memory games to my knowledge, but quickly caught on to how to play this one. I've enjoyed playing with him but I've watched him quietly play it by himself as well. Money well spent!

Such a cute Memory Matching Game! This comes with a nice wooden board/card holder with two score keeping counters at the bottom. The wood is smooth, edges are rounded and nicely finished so no sharp edges or slivers. The six double sided cards fit inside the wooden board and can easily be changed. The themes are Amusement Park, Insects, Vegetables, Zoo, Shapes, Beach, Numbers, Marine Animals, Alphabet, Christmas, Vehicles and Fruits. All theme graphics are clear, colorful and easily identifiable. My grandkids really enjoy this memory matching game and we all play together. This is a fun, engaging educational toy as it improves memory, matching abilities, observation and logical thinking. The individual boxes open easily and are good size for little hands.

I wasn’t expecting much but my kid loves this game. They are nearly 5 and recently very into games. I like that the cards store in the board for easy transport and clean up. I like that you can play against someone or just play alone and test your memory. I wish there were a few more cards but the ones that are included are fun designs and themes.The game is made of wood and seems pretty sturdy, yet so simple. Fair value for the cost, I wouldn’t pay more than $13 though.

This is nice for younger children to help with critical thinking and memorization. It’s nice that this memory game is made into a challenge for 2 people, my 4 yr old grandson loved trying to win against grandma. With the ability to change the cards out for different challenges helps to prevent memorizing one card.My only complaint is in opening the cover there is no notch or added clasp to grab the child has to be able to hold both sides to pull it open-harder for small hands, the other thing is the covers are help in place with a coated (like hair tie) rubber band. For my 4 yr old grandson it took him extra time to open the cover the older kids had no problems. But this too can be seen as a learning opportunity.
