Marshalltown 10997 SeamSlammer Drywall Taper applies drywall tape easily and quickly. It features a bulkhead that separates the tape from mud, keeping the roll dry, and an adjustable thumbscrew that applies just the right amount of mud on the tape. It holds a 500 foot roll of tape, and includes an adjustable strap with a wood handle. Replacement parts are available.

All I can say is it may not be perfect, but I used it for a project and taped 5 to 6 times faster with ample mud behind the tape and at the same time, much less waste. My only complaints are that the reservoir seal comes off when opening the lid and even though it comes with a handle for the side it really needs one on the other side. Other than that, I highly recommend this banjo.
