I don't think I bought these for what they are made for but, they are perfect for attaching my flag to the flagpole. Normally I'd have to use 2 connectors because the eyes on the flag are opposite the eyes on the pole. The twist in them makes them work perfectly. And of course, they are made from stainless steel & are very well made. I'd buy them again but, it was a pack of 10. They'll last me a lifetime.

The surface from the forging would lead one to believe it started life as a casting of dubious nature. Average quality, average finish. Should be sufficient for average use. Has normal magnetic properties for 316 so there's that at least.
