I was given this as a gift at my request. It is very sturdy. I cruise at 15 kts into a head wind for hours and it does not bend or move at all. The only problem I had, was while at a guest dock someone loosened the thumbscrew and helped themselves to my staff and burgee. When I replaced it I did not reuse the thumbscrew, I replaced it with an Alen bolt. It looks and feels like it was built to last.

I just installed this product on my boat, and it seems to have a high-quality design, and is built well of good quality materials. The ultimate test will require some time to see if it corrodes, but so far, it looks very good.

Installed on my boat’s Bimini pole. Any moving speed above 15mph will want to rip this thing out of its socket. Also, the wind constantly pushed the pole down no matter how much you tightened it. The second time out, I turned around and the entire flag and pole was gone and now resides at the bottom of the lake. This was after ensuring the pole’s thumb screw was tight prior to leaving the dock. Great for a kayak, but not a power boat!!

It took 2 months to receive this item and then it was not what we were expecting and when we tried to return the item it was too late as it was delivered after the return date deadline. Be careful in ordering this item.
