Although my original ladder clips were white (can't seem to find any) I purchased these as the price seemed fair. They are an exact fit, except of course color. But since there is black bits all over, they fit right in and hold the ladder very snug! Hopefully they last a long time. Got 7 years out of the white ones (think it was the cold that got them).

Our old ladder clip started to crack and wear to the point the ladder needed to be secured with a bungee cord this last weekend! We’ll let me tell you…after putting this bad boy on, I can confidently tell you, that ladder isn’t going anywhere! Plus it was a 2 pack, so now I’ve got a spare, bonus!

I Bought this in hopes it would be a good match for my boat swim step clamp replacement that was old and didn’t work anymore. I have a 1995 Glastron GS 160 and Iit fit like it was almost made for it (Original on was white). Only change I did was space the clip a little further out with a washer to make the swim step not rub against my boat rubber edging, then it was perfect. It holds very secure and the material is strong but stretches as needed and feels nice and secure. I even have a spare one for back up (2 came in this order).I am very pleased with this purchase!I would highly recommend this.

Previous owner had boat ladder tied to cleat with a strap. The clip was missing. This was exactly what I need to finally throw the strap away. It was annoying when we were out on the water and had to tie ladder. I expect this to be so much easier. I only needed one, but I like having the extra in case something happens.

It was difficult to tell the material from the pictures. Looked like they could have been made from a strong rubber. But these are a very solid plastic with no give. This makes it very difficult to put the 1” pipe in and out of them. It works, and it holds well. But it takes a lot of force. I will most likely shave mine down a bit to allow easier attaching.

It was a perfect replacement for the old ring. This clip is made to hold the boat ladder, easy to install, one screw and it sits in place. The first couple of time the rubber was a bit hard so you had to push the ladder, but after several tries, it worked great. It is strong enough to hold the ladder and with a little push it releases it. Great replacement part.
