This is top-quality twill tape, firmly and closely woven and smooth. It would be suitable for trimming as well as construction purposes. Before using a length of it, I washed it in hot water and dried in the dryer. It wrinkled of course, reassuring evidence that it contains no polyester. It shrunk not all all in width but shrunk about 8.5% in length, no surprise for all-cotton. Math is not my strong suit but I think if I cut about 10% more length than I needed before washing and drying, it would work.

Very flimsy, and the texture does NOT have a double Chevron as shown in pics, its a loose single Chevron weave. The color is also more of a bright royal blue, not a dark tone as shown. Quite disappointed!

This is perfect for my project. I needed it for wide ties that wouldn't be too stiff or scratchy, and this is just right. I haven't washed it yet but see no reason it won't be fine. I only question the sturdiness and durability because it seems a little lighter weight than I expected, but I think it'll be OK. I also questioned having to buy so many yards, but it turns out I'll be able to use it all, so pricewise it's a great bargain.

This cotton strapping is an excellent tight weave that makes it strong- perfect for handles on reusable shopping bags- yet it is easy to sew on a home sewing machine. I'm very happy with this product!

I purchase a secondhand Ikea Tarva bedframe in a queen size as well as 1 roll of this cotton ribbon, and I used the ribbon to help create the headboard for my bed. 1 roll was plenty and I have a little extra in case areas eventually need to be replaced. I used a staple gun to secure these in place and made sure to keep enough tension so that these would create a headboard with more tension and less give. It’s been a few months and so far this has held up great. I’m super happy with the quality of this product.

I love the color and the fact that it is cotton. The description states that it is continuous. It is not. Be sure to unwind what you need prior to beginning your project.

Since many products one would normally use for making face masks are no longer available, this cotton tape works extremely well if you are making the type of mask that uses ties instead of elastic. I double it over and sew it so that is is 1/2 inch. It is soft and durable and works well for the purpose. Will order again if I can still get it.
