Your cart is empty.This extra-long Screw Guide works over the outside edge of rain gutter to hold and guide 1/4-inch hex head screws up to3-3/4 inches long. An impact grade 6-inch long power drive, with a 4-1/2 inch anodized aluminum sleeve, provides easy reach to the mounting surface of eaves without marring the finish of the outside gutter edge. The power drive's hex shank fits any drill or 1/4-inch impact driver and the aluminum sleeve guide ensures support for fast, accurate screw starts and for stabilizing long screws, at any angle, during installation. A permanently bonded, spring loaded magnet keeps the hex head screw fully engaged in the power drive. The screw seats flush every time and the magnet will not fall out!

One comes to be picky about tools when you work for so long in the construction industry and this bit fits everything I needed out of a drill bit. I have hadthis but for a year and can't use another bit it works so well. The only reason that I am buying a new one is that my drill fell off the roof, yes I know, and the bit bent just a little but enough to cause it to be unbalanced. But after a year of using it it never lost its grip on the screw magnet never broke or fell out. The only thing other than the afore mentioned that happened is that the sleeve does manage to dent rather easily which can cause it to stick and not slide but when the ring that holds the sleeve came off it allowed me to take it off and use it when I needed to or use it as another tool. All in all I love this bit and won't use anything else, or at least until something better is found but good luck with that.

I used this every weekday for over a year. I’m just now ordering my second one but I put in thousands of screws with the first one and it’s the best solution I’ve found so far for gutter screws.

This quarter inch 6 inch extra-long head works great. But as much as I use it in a day the head wares out fast and the magnic chips and cracks leaving a unstable head while screwing in longer screws. So they only last me about month and I'm ordering more. Wish they had a much better hardened steel

Good product ive used them for 4 years I us it a lot every day so one last me about a year haven't found any that last as long an still work good, the magnet does come out sometimes i wish they could glue it in there thats what i end up doing if it does fall out after some time

We used to get similar sliders from a supply company that stopped carrying them. Compared to those the magnets on these ones come out a lot faster, but the whole thing is more durable since it's one solid piece (as opposed to slider and tip). I epoxied my own magnet into the tip and so far it has held up, but we shall see for how much longer. A must have for gutter pros.

After a few days of trying this out - we plan to buy more. Its just a simple well made tool that speeds up the one task it was designed to do. One commenter said that his broke - but there is not much to break here. Maybe over torqueing a screw would do it - but nothing we've seen would say its anything but a simple and great item worth its price.I don't know how long this tool has been available but like another recent acquisition for us of Moheco Ladder Doks - we wish we had known about them sooner.
