I am a home owner doing some work on my fence. I had some Phillips bits that were part of a cheap set. I was frustrated at how difficult it was to get the screws started and how often the screws spun off. I bought these Makita bits and the improvement is huge! One of my best tool purchases. These bits have saved me time and frustration. They fit into the screw heads so much better than the other bits.

Very handy #3 bits to carry around on an impact driver. I work on commercial doors a lot, and always need a #2 and #3 phillips bit on me. These double ended bits fit perfect in an impact driver, both in the chuck and in the side bit holder. I guess its cool that its double ended in case one side breaks? And of course, with Makita brand bits, you can expect good quality. These do NOT work well in magnetic bit extensions or "quick-lock" bit extensions. I only use them directly in my impact driver.

holds up well, its deep and it holds screws being moved to insertion on metal plates. Not to many screws ar dropped as long as you keep the drill horizontal,or up-right. I lent my Bosch drive with the bit to neighbor doing deck and it saved their butt!. Bit came back with some color missing, but still works well

Great product. Last longer and is cheaper in the long run than buying other competitor bits. These bits were used by me for fastening down hundreds maybe thousands of 4"-9" screws through 2 layers of fire rated roof board 3/8'', 1/2'' and the corrugated galvanized roof on a school roof.

works as intended, i dig the double end feature and the fit in the screw is nice. i dont drive wood screws so i cant say if the hold up to that but i do drive the occasional self tapper as an electrician and this has held up for a few months just fine with pretty much no wear

It is reassuring to know your tools will outlast any job and this product provides that reassurance at a small premium unit cost over competing brands. When you use as many bits as I do on the jobsite you quickly learn which products are more economical and these last long enough to take you through long demanding jobs without stoppages for tool changes. When you count the number of these used in a big job compared with other cheaper brands you easily calculate that they are ironically cheaper than any other Asian brandBuy them and keep spares, they are worth while owning

If you can't use T drive screws these are a gotta have. I was going through bits like crazy trying to do a project with #1 philips screws.I tried Irwin, Dewalt, and a couple other no namer bits that just tore up after half a dozen #1 screws. These made it possible and helped me keep my sanity! Worked great in my Ridgid impact driver and lasted WAY longer then the other bits. Thanks Makita.
