This chore chart is awesome. It looks great on the fridge. The magnets are strong; have had almost a month and nothing has ever fallen off the fridge. This has been great with helping my 4 year old to do her chores. The rule is she has to do it without complaining to earn a star. Just earning the star is positive reinforcement for her; she likes to be given the little sea star to put on herself. The price is great, especially considering all of the little circle magnets you get. My only complaint is the dry erase marker that came with it - it left some smudges on the chart when wiping off. I started using a different marker and have not had any issue with that one wiping clean.

Wish I had gotten this chart months ago!! My 4.5yo has been babied for too long and I needed something to motivate him to become more independent since I’m due to have a baby in 2 months. This chart did the trick in just a few short weeks. Not all kids will benefit from this as I have tried charts like this with my much older ADHD son and it flopped.I had a few reasons for the 4/5 stars. The first being when it arrived, it was very wrinkled and didn’t lay flat on my white board. With time it has smoothed out thought the corners still don’t lay flat. It’s a fairly decent magnet strength. Nothing over all impressive but it doesn’t fall off and neither do the stars. The other thing I don’t love is how thick the tip of the marker is given the small amount of writing space. I made it work though by keeping the tasks short and trying to write lightly/small. The last thing is that it’s not a great “dry” erase. I end up having to wet it to get the marker off when I have changed the task. Not a huge deal breaker but something to note.Aside from that this chart has been a game changer. My son not only looks forward to the reward but also completing his tasks to place his stars. It has encouraged reading, writing, independence, counting and planning. Dinner takes far less time as he stays in his seat and he is starting to learn how to go to sleep on his own without tears. I love that the stars are magnets which allows for him to reuse them and works on fine motor skills to take out them on and them off. The chart is bright and colorful which is eye catching to a young child. He absolutely loves his chart! I would recommend this to any parent as it’s worth a shot to motivate your kids to be independent and responsible.

As my young kids get older (*tear), we have to teach them about daily routines and what they can start doing themselves. Adding things like brushing your teeth, putting your dirty clothes away, etc have been such a game changer for us because it starts building good habits and teaching responsibility in a way that doesn't require us to constantly nag them. Sure, we still have to remind them to look at the chore list but it's helped so much and it gives them a sense of accomplishment when we check things off and positively reinforce what they've done.

My daughter loves this and the best part is that she is now doing her chores!! The main mat is solid magnetic, but the edges do curl up just a little, but not enough for us not to enjoy this product. The magnets looked to be 3-D in the pictures but are flat magnets used to track progress. Again, this does not keep me from loving and enjoying the product, but why I rated it a 4 instead of a 5. The marker works great, but sometimes does not erase cleanly. I would say that this is a good value for the price. Easy to use and set up.

Came with a broken box. The reward board looks like has been used. You can see some marks and creases on it.

This chore chart is fun for motivating my daughter to get her chores done! I love the magnetic circles to mark off which chores she’s done. It looks nice on our fridge, and the goals at the bottom help keep my daughter motivated to earn an allowance and teaches her to be more organized. We love it!
