The bullet connectors were not the correct size,too small. When I finally got it connected the switch was backwards up was down and down was up. It would be nice if they let you know it was made in China.

I’ve had two of these short out in no time! They literally melt the bottom where the wires go into the housing. The first one lasted a few weeks. The second shorted out almost instantly after installing. DO NOT BUY

This was an exact fit for my 1995 Force 120, and I'm delighted to have it! Unfortunately, I can't give it 5 stars, because the switch sometimes stays on even when no pressed. For example, sometimes when I raise the motor, I let go of button, and it continues to go up, or suddenly reverses to the down direction. So I have to hit it a few more times until it stops doing things on it's own. Not great, but also not catastrophic.

Had to replace the switch on my 1999 mercury 125hp outboard as mine was acting up. Called the dealer and they wanted $160 for one. So I ordered this. The gauge of wires is smaller than the original so the bullet style connectors were too small for actual plug and play. But once I got it hooked up it works good

This product is junk. It’s not waterproof which makes it useless since it’s on an outboard motor. Ended up buying the OEM switch

Have been having issued with original tilt switch on the cowl of my outboard. When pushing tilt up button it would not stop when letting go of switch, had to press down button to get it to stop. I took the switch out and tried to fix it but could never get it to work correctly 100% of the time. So ordered this one. A little more costly than I thought it would be! I did order and installed it. The mounting is different but eventually got it in. The old switch has a metal slide clip that holds it in place. The new one has plastic clips on each side. I had to compress the plastic clips really hard to get it in the existing hole and afterwards the switch was loose. I was able to use the old metal clip and it is still a little bit loose but is fine. Switch works well.

Didnt fit 2001 mercury 115 four stroke EFI retrofit cowling sanding the larger...an a intermittent problem with switch twice i did it...part is not worth it..
