Like that is has a switch wire. I can wire the lights to any 12v circuit and run only one very thin wire to a switch: on/off, 3 modes.

The value of the lights is there. The product is well made and wouldn’t disappoint. Just make sure the lights are installed correctly. This pictures were taken 18 month after installation. 6000lm for me is enough.

Great lights! We have four at the bottom of our 65 foot sail boat. The blue and white colors are lovely. White attracts more fish but the the blue is just a lovely look. Lights can be either blue or white or transistion into both. Highly recommend!

Ordered this underwater light for my Boston Whaler Outrage about a year and a half ago in anticipation of doing a full lighting overhaul on the boat. Hauled the boat out November of last year and refreshed all the lighting, the sound system, and of course installed this underwater light. The entire installation was professionally done by the mercury dealership in my area. First off, this light is awesome and very bright...when it is working. After 4 months I noticed the light starting to flicker, and then the blue light stopped working entirely. I had the boat hauled out and the wires checked then changed to make sure it wasn't a connection issue. At this point, only the white LEDs are working. After the 5th month more flickering and finally the white light gave out too. The unit was installed with 3m 5200 marine silicone which is industry standard for any installations below waterline on boats. In the attached picture you can see slight corrosion on the LEDs which leads me to believe the unit itself may be faulty and has let in moisture. My boat is also not stored in a boatyard, longest its left in the water is maybe 5 days. the problem now is even if I have to return the light to have it checked for faults or have it exchanged, im left with a hole in my transom and cannot use the boat. was initially pleased with this product but very upsetting that its faulty...waste of $350.

Bought 4. I originally got them for the white. Once in the water. The blue is amazing.i was scared spending 2500 $ on 4 lights. But !!! Once installed them. WOW. Just WOW These lights are no F----Ing joke. They are super bright. They light the wake up behind the boat like crazy. I would highly recommend and I would purchase again in a heart beat.ps. Do NOT look at them directly in the drive way. They are stupid crazy bright.

Bought two of these and Installed on boat while out of the water getting engin3 work done . Just put the boat back in for a sea trial for 20 mins and boat and all lights ran and worked great . Took the boat out and then noticed the next day while working on the electrics that one light just flickered and went out . On closer inspection noticed there was moisture in one of the lights . After Only 20 mins in the water I was shocked to see this . Will contact amazon but the order says return window was closed !! I’ll update when someone gets back to me . Update .. Lumitec have sent me out a new light and they were very easy to deal with and helpful ! I have replaced the light with the issue but still have to put back in water ! I’ll update again ! But all said the response and service with Lumitec was awesome

Put on the back of a Cruiser, three units across a 15' beam, very easy to install, if you don't mind drilling holes in your transom that will be under water. Lots of caulk recommended. The light works great, blue with a first switch and white with a second switch click. Very bright and extreemly well made, very heavy.....should be for the price!

Amazing product, well built, American made. I did the homework and bought these, and liked them and the company so much that I bought three Nevis engine room lights as well.It is hard to believe how solidly made they are. I had technical questions about my neutral line and they helped me with that, I asked so many questions that I started to feel bad for bothering their tech support department, but the lady kept answering me until I was comfortable with my installation. They are supposed to be mounted below the waterline, I did the best I could, but most of my 24’ Chaparral Sunesta is above the waterline when up on plane-however, as a result, the lights end up illuminating my entire wake and it looks really cool. Besides, my river is so dark and cloudy they don’t penetrate that far when the boat is at idle, and I have a big swim platform too.
