There were no instructions, attachment screws or clamps. Very dissatisfied customer. Very expensive for a piece of tin. Also, it did not fit as it rubs against the tire and barley clearance between the guard and bike frame. I had to make signifigant modifications to get it to fit.

Bit flimsy, the bracket on back side was tweaked, so had to try to bend it back to position. Thicker metal would be a bonus to the product.

Bikes get rough use, and my boys are no exception. They broke the plastic chain guard that came with the bike in short order, and didn't tell me about it 'till their pants got caught in the chain and they had to limp home that way. This STEEL one wont break. But buyers should be aware that there are many configurations of bikes out there and I had to modify this item to make it fit my son's bike. I had to shorten it, drill a new rear hole, remove the front bracket and use the bracket that came with the bike (grinding, drilling, and riveting required) to make it fit. Simple operations yes, but the take-away is - don't expect it to be a drop in fit. However, any good bike shop can modify it for you. The results look good and they've yet to break it.

The holes didn’t line up with a kids 20 inch bike and had to drill new holes in order to mount it but otherwise it works fine.
