They may be durable but obviously they are not high quality. The tension rods didn’t fit. I am sending them back

Not sure why these are being sold as bass drum tension rods. I have tested them on multiple kits including Pearl, Premier and an older Groove Percussion kit and the rod demission is too big to fit any of them. Beware when purchasing these.

The Tension Rodsare too thick and will not fit in the lugs. I tried them on 3 different drums, by 3 different manufactures and the wont fit.

So, I decided to put a resonant head on the front of my 1970's Slingerland rock bass drum. (It came without one)I bought a hoop, and these claws and bolts. Claws are ok, but the bolts were too short for this old classic bass drum. I finally found bolts that work (after 2 attempts for bolts), and the drum is great.

The claws on this product are fine, they look very close to the ones on my vintage Ludwig. The Tension Rods however are too thick and will not fit in the lugs. I tried them on 3 different drums, by 3 different manufactures. Do not purchase.

The Claw Portion is Nice and Mainly what I ordered these for. The screws are not a standard drum thread. My drum key didn’t even fit it. The head was too small. Not sure the thread size but it’s definitely not standard. Specially not even fitting any drum key. Claws are nice and fit Great Though
