This upgrade is a must not only for better handling but the factory rear diff in the version 1.0 baja rey is actually not sealed. Every time I tried to rebuild it the fluid would always leak out from the axle shaft ends due to the way the diff is designed. This locker eliminates that issue as well as improves handling for offroad use

It’s works but losi made it complicated to get to the diff, product get a 5 but my complaint would be for the Baja/ hammer Rey diff

Product has a square hole and it’s supposed to go around the outdrive shaft with a pin but doesn’t fit whatsoever, ordering a different one that should fit.

I had a hard time finding any kind of review or video of this diff locker in a Losi Baja Rey. The only review I came across said it didn't fit, so I decided to order it and find out for myself...Good news! It fits perfectly. I'm using the stock, plastic rear diff housing, and left the orange o-ring and blue gasket in place with the install.I didn't get much of a test run in yet, and just now realize I didn't adjust AVC, so didn't notice much difference from the open diff on grass and concrete surfaces. I'm sure the change will be more obvious on loose surfaces (dirt/sand).
